Go To Facebook...Check with Friends & Family???

Go To You Tube...Search for "Anything"???

Go To "My Home Page"...Check out web pages...my local stuff...

I could do MORE
with a BIGGER Display???

...and they are CHEAP...$300

Google is developing an operating system
for Notebooks...
called

CHROMIUM...

Works Fast and handles Java script
better than traditional OS's...

Google is developing
APPS
that people can use from the WEB...

What's an APP?????

...that can be shared

CLOUD COMPUTING
is the direction that Google is trying to go...

Competition:

	Microsoft makes $19 Billion from their Office Suite... Google makes $22 Billion from "Search"
	Just released January 27th???   Apple's IPAD

Google has 1,000,000
linux computers around the world...

Some very large Organizations
are starting to work
with Google in the CLOUD...

So Why do I even need my LAPTOP?????

Because the SmartPhone
and the Netbook are LIMITED in:

Display SIZE

Computing Power

...and not suitable for LOCAL Applications like:

Graphics Manipulation...

Complicated Word, Excel,
Power Point or Access Applications

Many other proprietary applications,
which one may need:

Quicken

Dreamweaver (building web pages)

Photoshop

Making Movies

So, I personally, go to my Laptop
and/or my Desktop Computer

for a few hours each afternoon and evening

to do work or entertainment and email

How does Google affect my "computer days"????

Probably, 60% of the time I use Google resources
Google Maps
Google Earth
Picasa
GMAIL

the rest is Microsoft (photo gallery, movie maker),
Sun (Open Office Suites),
Intuit (Turbo Tax),
Yahoo (Sports, Entertainment), etc.....

Who will win the Desktop, Laptop,
Notebook & SmartPhone Business???

...and will the distribution of CONTENT
(Videos, Radio-TV)

be via TV, Desktop, Laptop, Netbooks or...
Mobile Phones (Computers)

Old Days...3 Major TV Channels
Today...900 Cable Channels

Tomorrow...3,000 or more...TV/Cyberspace Channels
(Narrow-Casting)

Prediction...Everyone will Share..

Google-Microsoft-Yahoo-Sun, etc, etc....

but Google looks good in the future
for individual users...

& Microsoft will continue to dominate
the Enterprise market...
