Amazon's KINDLE

One of the latest technical innovations is the e-Book. Actually, e-books have been around for several years, but only recently hit the headlines. The most famous of these is the Amazon Kindle, with improved version 2.

A large selection of digital books is available from many on-line suppliers at considerable savings over printed versions. The pros and cons of e-books will be discussed.

E-book readers allow you to carry many full length books, magazines, newspapers and other media in digital format in one convenient appliance, about the size and weight of a large paperback book. The display is easy to read, even in bright sunlight, and is adjustable to various font sizes.
